Lost

Not the TV show. Although that is possibly the best series I've ever watched. I'm talking about being lost personally. I feel so overloaded with things of the world, that my writing is so far behind! I am going to school for my writing career (English Literature). Writing is my life. It will always be my life, but why do I feel so overloaded that I can't even think of turning back to it? There doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day. Once I'm home from my full-time job, there's only so many hours left in the night before I have to go to bed to start all over again. I want to work on my W.i.P., but life just isn't going to let me!

Do you ever feel this way? How do you get past it?

  1. OMG I am so there with you. Work full time, going to school (English major). My novel needs some much needed revisions but I haven't worked on it in several months! I'm starting to get to a place where I feel like I can work on it, but then I think of the papers I have to write for school and my mind wanders away again. Keep your head up! Focus on school and things you need to now, once the semester is over you can totally go straight to your wip. :)
